Ice Skating!

Hello!  This is from Christmas eve, when daddy, Denali, and I went out into the yard and walked around in the snow for a couple of hours.  It was beautiful!  Denali was so happy- she kept running and galloping through the snow.  I haven't seen that kind of energy from her in a long while. 

But the new news is that I started Ice Skating lessons last night.  I tried it out before Christmas with daddy and liked it.  So last night we showed up for my first group lesson.  It was a little scary but super fun.

 This is my first time on the ice . . . ever.  Iwas amazed how slippery it is!

 After a while, I started to get the hang of it, but I needed the wall!

 Ok, this isn't so bad

 Last night I had my first class and our instructor (in the Iowa sweatshirt) told us how to fall so we dont poke ourselves with the "toe pick"

After a brief introduction, the whole class poured onto to the ice to try it out.

OOPS!  We're bringing a helmet from now on.

LOOK!  I'M DOING IT!  I'M STANDING ON THE ICE WITHOUT HELP! YAY! YAY! YAY!
