The Ski Videos!

Here's the movie you've been waiting for: me skiing down Sleepy Hollow on Chair 15!  YAY!  Dad held me and Grandad shot the movie.  Great photography, Grandad!

As a bonus, here's daddy showing his perfect form on the top of Chair 8 with no one around.  Gorgeous!

Our Happiest Place on Earth

Today, daddy gave me a huge surprise; he took me to Disneyland! We gave Boppy a ride to the train so she could go visit Kendall. I lost myself watching a movie in the car and when I looked up we were at Disneyland!

We spent the day riding Star Tours, Splash Mountain, Pirates, Small World, Autotopia, the Submarine Ride and others. I even rode Haunted Mansion for the first time and loved it!

Here's the photos.

Golfing with Boppy

Daddy attended his medical meeting all day today, so I spent the day with Boppy and Dad-dad. We took Heidi and Emma for a walk in the Arroyo. Later we played golf. It was awesome!

The Range of Light

I am having a super awesome time with my family at Mammoth! We came up on Monday, and I attended Ski School Tuesday and Wednesday. I was so happy at ski school! My teacher's name was Carly and I met two nice children, Hugo and Sophia

I also rode the village gondola, played in a cool playground, made cupcakes with mommy, and other cool stuff.

The most significant event this week was - I hope you are all sitting down for this- I rode a chairlift!!! Dad-dad and daddy took me up chair 15 and helped me ski down Sleepy Hollow. It was so cool!

Mimi and I at the Smithsonian

Mimi and I had an awesome time in DC!  It was so cool!  We spent a day at the Natural History Museum and the Museum of the American Indian.  My favorite thing was a native american dummer who was pounding on all sorts of different drums in the tall atrium of the museum.  You could hear the loud drums all the way up into the top part of the museum.  I couldnt help but dance!  Everyone thought it was really cute that I was dancing along to the beat.

For lunch, we ate traditional dishes from the Pacific Northwest in the Indian museum cafeteria.  This meant salmon and potatoes!  Cool!

At the Natural History museum I saw elephants, whales, volcanoes, and other cool stuff.

Here's two pictures of me from the Indian museum:

DC with Mimi

Daddy, Mimi and I are in our nations Capitol for daddy's business. While he goes off and meets with senators, congressmen, etc, Mimi and I went to the zoo. We saw pandas, elephants, lions and tigers. Lions were my favorite. While we were waiting fir the subway, I met a 4 yo girl from Mongolia who is also named Sophie!

For dinner we met up with uncle Kurt and ate at a fancy restaurant to celebrate.

Ladies hoops

Daddy took me to my first women's basketball game. It turns out it was his first women's game, too! I got to enjoy my favorite courtside snack, popcorn! Cool.

My friends Reagan and Alex were there too. We just sat and giggled the whole time.

Tomorrow, we are going on a special trip with Mimi to Washington DC! More soon.

Sisterhood of the traveling owls

Here's my new journal that daddy gave me for Christmas. I am using it to record my thoughts, feelings, tastes, and experiences all this year as I travel with him to his ACEP events. It should be quite a read by this time in 2013!

Test Post from mobile blogger

Let's see how this works. I can't write much in this format, but I can upload anything from the phone!

Coming back to the blogosphere

As many of you know, I have been off blogging for over three months.  This was mostly due to daddy being too busy and using Facebook for the same purpose.  But it was also due to Steve Jobs and his invention of the future.  In October, daddy got the new iPhone with the new 8 mp camera, becoming his daily point and shoot camera.  As a result, all the photos of me have been on his phone and his iCloud account and not on the PC needed to load the photos onto blogger.com.

But. . . as of today, daddy has the new blogger app on his phone making quick updates MUCH easier.  Look for new posts soon!

In the meantime, here is a random sample of extra cute photos of me.  Me, me, me!
