Last weekend we went to Granmimi's farm to meet Marylin and Harvard's new puppies. They were only three weeks old, just starting solid foods, and their eyes had just opened. They are so soft and cuddly! I wasn't scared at all and I was happy to touch and cuddle with them. Avid followers of this blog may remember that when I met the basset litter last year I was a little intimiated. I am over that now! Daddy and mommy say that we can't get a new puppy right now. But I wouldn't mind having one of these- as along as they stay small. But I guess St Benard's don't stay small for long . . . .

Sophie,
The puppies and you are a wonderful combination. They are so adorable. I look forward to seeing you soon. Maybe you would take me to see the cuddly furry creatures. Love, Gran
As a dedicated reader of Sophie's blog I do remember that you were a bit initimated by the basset puppies - but look at you now! The puppies are so happy to see you and I am sure before long they will want to play. Evie, the puppies grandmother, wants you to give the puppies a big hug for her. She is a big St. Bernard and she loves to play with your cousin Kate (like you Kate loves animals)and Kate loves to play with Evie and her special puupy sister Zoe. Also I really like your rain boots- they are so cute. You are stylin'!
Love,
Ada
