Yesterday we got some good news: the flood waters are receeding. And they opened the interstates that had been closed by the floods. Although we still only have two bridges in town, things are starting to return to normal. Mommy had the morning off so we all went out to breakfast at Lou Henri's, a cool coffee shop that gave me my own sippy cup of milk- thanks! Then we went back to the children's museum and said hi to my favorite turtle. '

Oh Sophie, What a wonderful new development-you're walking and you are ready to explore. Not just a few steps but you are walking and with speed and grace I might add.
