Sophie, It is so nie to see that you are enjoying another family tradition- how nice that you could enjoy the parade with Granddad and Boppy. When Nanny Jenny was a little girl she loved going to the parade and walk among the floats (it was a family tradition)and she loves trees too- there is nothing like the smell of the flowers and the bright California sunshine for a perfect New Years day. New Years Eve in Pasadena- that brings back many years of wonderful memories for me- Your Dad, and Uncles CHris and Kurt always enjoyed the New Years festivities- sometimes we all went to the parade route and walked down the route near our home on San Marino Ave and sometimes we had parties and went the next day. Living in Pasadena-San Marino included the New years celebration - we were all a part of the good times. Love, Gran
