I had a wonderful winter adventure on Saturday. After ballet class, daddy and I went to Lake McBride state park where his students were conducting a Wilderness Adventure Race in the snow. Daddy pulled me around the course on my sled (thank you, Aunt Jenny!) and we sipped hot coco by a campfire. It was awesome! Afterwards, we drove to Petra's home at the Raptor Center. The road was closed due to winter, so we hiked in (again me on my sled) to see the owls and hawks. Petra was not at home, she often goes inside for the winter, but the other birds were there. The bald eagle said hello to me and the barred owl clicked his beak when he saw me.
Before this amazing adventure of sliding through the woods, we had a great ballet class. It was nice and warm in the studio, the music was joyous and uplifting, and I danced like Spring had arrived. Here's some videos from class, including one with me dancing with daddy!
